The Obscuro-Duckonian Helgi Hallvarðsson Naval Academy is (at this time) the only operating micronational naval academy. You can sign up for three different courses, acquire invaluable naval and maritime knowledge and use it to build up or improve your very own micronational navy!
Courses
Each course consists of multiple different topics, covered by a video, 5 to 20 minutes long.
The curriculums will be finalized on the 3rd of March 2025!
Micro and Macronational Naval History

Coast Guard and Security Guard Basics

-Basic self-defense techniques

-Maritime Security and Safety
Basic Naval Tactics and Sailing

-Maneuvering into advantageous positions
-Strategic deployment of naval units
-Introduction to sailing and motorboats
-Basic geography
-Law of the Sea
How it works
Step 1:
Select the course you'd like to attend (see above).
Step 2:
Sign up using the form below.
Step 3:
Receive a confirmation email from us, which included access to the course material.
Step 4:
Watch and understand the course videos within 2 Months.
Step 5:
Pass a short exam at the end of your course. If you don't pass the exam, you can try again one more time after 2 weeks.
Step 6:
After completing one course, you can sign up for another course and complete all three courses of the academy.

Each Graduate of a course of the Helgi Hallvarðsson Naval Academy is entitled to a free digital certificate for their course and the title of Commodore 3rd Class of the Red Trident of Obscurity and of the Archducal Navy of Duckionary. After the completion of a second course, the graduate's rank will be raised to Commodore 2nd Class and subsequently to Commodore 1st Class, after completion of all three courses.

A physical certificate for each can be obtained for 2€ (plus shipping).

A physical medal for the successful completion of all three courses can be obtained for 5€ (plus shipping).
